Profiz Business Solution Oyj supplied SAP application to Dekolevy Oy

Dekolevy Oy that concentrates on wholesale trade made an agreement in June with SAP’s distributor partner Profiz Business Solution Oyj. Dekolevy takes the SAP Business One application to production use at the end of November. Dekolevy’s operation control will improve markedly when it focuses different functions on one application.

Dekolevy Oy from the Town of Hyvinkää is a wholesale company supplying accessories, materials and machines to the graphic industry. Dekolevy Oy and Pinspectra Oy having operated in the same branch merged in November 2005 whereby the needs for unification of information systems grew. In addition, the life cycle of the previous operation control solution was coming to its end which made acquisition of the software of current interest.

Dekolevy’s Managing Director Hannele Lehikoinen tells that in the acquisition phase different alternatives were weighed carefully. SAP’s application rose to the top of the list due to user friendliness and versatility.”SAP Business One offered us all we needed. It was by far the clearest and most comprehensive application among the alternatives we went through in the bidding phase. With regard to its properties the application was considerably more versatile compared with the competitors”, crystallizes Hannele Lehikoinen.”With Profiz the project has advanced well and speedily. The company has managed the project according to time schedules and in a professional manner. Furthermore, we speak the same language with them”, continues Lehikoinen.

All 11 company employees will use the software from November onwards. Dekolevy wishes that the SAP Business One application will result in improvements in e.g. the company's sales work, logistics and financial administration."New areas of use accompanying the new application include accounting and the ledgers that have been previously managed by an accounting agency. In addition, new functions include management of maintenance and customer relationships. Sales and purchase orders, warehouse management and invoicing are also managed concertedly using the SAP application", lists Lehikoinen. We have received excellent support from Profiz throughout the entire project. Our needs have been extremely well observed in the definition, training and start-up phases."

Dekolevy intends to develop the SAP Business One application also in the future. "Electronic invoicing shall be adopted next year. I believe that the SAP Business One application will make our work easier and improve our productivity", tells Hannele Lehikoinen.
